Your enquiry:- Can I test my DC treadmill motor using a battery from a drill?
Reply:-
No.
The drill battery does not have sufficient voltage or current to properly test the motor and so cannot test motor torque (rotational power). You’ll need a variable DC power source of approx 180VDC* and up to 12A to fully test a treadmill motor which most people do not have access to! It’s a job for a professional.
*Note that voltage and current required for motor may be different for non-european regions.
